Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Houston, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Houston helps you organize tasks, reminders, quick information and focus sessions. Features may change, be improved or be discontinued over time.

2. Your account

You must provide truthful information, keep your credentials safe and tell us about any unauthorized use. You are responsible for the activities carried out in your account. Use is permitted to people with legal capacity to accept these Terms.

3. Houston Pro subscription

Paid plans are processed through the App Store. The price and the period are shown before the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it within the notice period required by Apple's rules. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. Restoring purchases does not create a new charge.

Deleting your Houston account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in your Apple settings if you do not want future renewals.

4. AI assistant

AI results may contain errors, omissions or unexpected interpretations. Check dates, times and important information before acting on them. Houston does not replace medical, legal, financial or professional advice and must not be used for high-risk decisions or emergencies.

5. Your content

You remain the owner of the content you create. You grant us limited permission to store, process and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the service you requested. You represent that you have the right to use the content you submit.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Houston to break laws or third-party rights, distribute malicious content, attempt to access accounts or systems without authorization, circumvent limits, abuse the infrastructure or exploit the service fraudulently.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Houston available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Reminders depend on the device, permissions, operating system and connection; therefore, do not use the app as the only means for critical commitments.

8. Termination and deletion

You can stop using the service and delete your account inside the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts in case of a breach of these Terms, security risk or legal requirement, respecting applicable law.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Houston is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or damages arising from incorrect information entered by the user, unverified AI results, undelivered notifications or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without excluding rights granted by the legislation of the place where you live. Questions can be sent to hello@houstonapp.space.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is relevant, we will communicate it appropriately. Continuing to use the service after it takes effect means accepting the new version.
